- Currently we are holding your order. The order contains items the US Commerce Depart-ment regulates under the Export Administration Regulations. Brownells will need to ap-ply to the Commerce Department for a license in order to ship this order to you.
We will need an import permit from your country and a written order from you before we can make this application. You will need to mail these documents to us; our Commerce Department will not accept fax copies. The combination of your country of residence or delivery and Shotgun parts (ECCN: 0A984), Sighting device (ECCN: 0A987) and/or other Non-specific gun parts (ECCN: 0A018) is the reason for this Commerce Department license requirement. The attached order marks the products in question.
A l'aide ! Quelqu'un aurait tenté l'expérience récemment?

- The United States State Department has outlined the regulations for shipping firearms (Class I items) and ammunition (Class III items) to foreign countries, including Canada. If you have access to the Internet these guidelines can be found at www.pmdtc.org. They are outlined below:
The biggest change requires you to provide an Import Authorization stating you can import firearm components. Our State Department will only accept a certified copy of this import permit. Our government for processing will require an English translation. FAX COPIES ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. The certified copy is needed with every order. DO NOT send your original copy; you will need this to receive the goods. If your country does not require Import Authorization for firearm parts, our State Department requires a letter, in English, indicating that your government requires no import permit/license. An original of this letter is needed for every order. A fax copy of this letter is not acceptable by our State Department. The main intention of these regulation changes is to ensure that we are exporting firearms or firearm components to duly authorized end users. So, please send us official notification from your government, or letter stating you can import firearm component parts. If you need further assistance, please communicate with our export department. Thank you, Sandy Moranville Brownells sandym@brownells.com

- Section 123.1(c)(4) of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) establishes that the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) requires all pertinent documentary information in order to consider the issuance of a license or other approval. Consistent with our longstanding practice, in addition to requiring a purchase order, end-user statement, import certificate/permit, or other documentation, DDTC's Office of Defense Trade Controls Licensing (DTCL) requires the purchase order to be a signed contract to be submitted with any application for the permanent export of defense articles.
The purpose of this requirement is to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction, including the roles and responsibilities of all the parties. DTCL has received with increasing frequency supporting documentation that calls into question whether the applicants are in a position to fulfill their responsibilities as registered exporters and, in fact, whether anyone at the companies could meet the obligations as empowered officials under Section 120.25. In these instances, the applications have been Returned Without Action advising the applicants of the ITAR requirements. At this time, DTCL finds it prudent to reiterate to exporters of defense articles the fundamental ITAR requirement for supporting documentation. The purchase documentation must be from the foreign party purchasing the defense articles. The purchase documentation cannot be from its U.S. subsidiary since the latter entity is considered a U.S. person under the ITAR. The purchase order must be addressed and directed to the registered U.S. party selling the defense articles and submitting the export license application. This ensures that the applicant is in a contractual position to fulfill all responsibilities of registered parties under the ITAR, including being knowledgeable of all elements of the transaction. The documentation may contain references to other parties and their roles (e.g., suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders), but at a minimum must specifically explain the role of the party submitting the license application. All applications submitted after September 16, 2005, not in compliance with this requirement will be Returned Without Action. In the interim, DTCL will consider applications on a case-by-case basis and determine whether they may be approved pending full implementation of this requirement.
euh j'ai juste capté l'extrait disant que si il ne faut aucune autorisation chez l'acheteur, un simple courrier est suffisant... Correct? Je compte commander juste des crosses pour 10/22 et Mosin Nagant

| Ce qu'ils disent avec : If your country does not require Import Authorization for firearm parts, our State Department requires a letter, in English, indicating that your government requires no import permit/license. An original of this letter is needed for every order. A fax copy of this letter is not acceptable by our State Department.

| Crosse = pièce d'arme ->licence.
Et si la pièce ou la commande dépasse 100USD, licence d'exportation US (250USD)
